The opening dialogue of the Netflix original series ‘Sacred Games’ had the power to make the chills run down the spine of the listener. Dialogue is delivered by Nawzuddin Siddiqui who plays the antagonist in the series. Prediction is being made to Sartaj Singh, whose character is played by Saif Ali Khan. He is told that he has less than a month to save his city. Sartaj is left confused in the middle of nowhere when Ganesh curtly hangs up on him. After Ganesh disconnects, Sartaj is left helpless because he has no idea where to start the investigation from, and how to proceed towards it. Later Sartaj gets to know that Ganesh who is planning an attack on the city has an interconnection with his dead father. While proceeding with the investigation of the case, Sartaj is suspended from the duty, and this is where Radhika Apte enters the scene. Then Radhika and Saif get together in fighting against Ganesh’s plan to destroy Mumbai. This series is directed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane. In this series, Saif and Nawazuddin are working together for the first time. The series comprises of eight episodes and is based on a novel with the same name. The novel is written by Vikram Chandra. The series is set to release on Netflix on 6th July worldwide.
