Equality is everyone's right this is what a girl wanted and she is none other than the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace prize Malala Yousafzai. Malala who defeated death and went on to fight for equality and right of education that left everyone speechless. To celebrate her courage and powerful voice a biopic is being made on this brave activist that is titled as "Gul Makai". Directed by Amjad Khan and produced by Sanjay Singla and Preeti Vijay Jaju the biopic is based on the real life incidents that happened in Malala's life. On Malala's 21st Birthday the makers of the film released the most awaited teaser of the biopic that showed some glimpse what led Malala fight for her rights. The teaser showcased heroic deeds and highlights her continuous and bold efforts to encourage women education. Borned in Pakistan on 12 July,1997 that is marked as Malala Day by UN headquarters. Malala's father who was a teacher in Pakistan use to teach girls in their Village. But, things changed when their town was controlled by Taliban that led to ban on things like owning a television, playing music and no education for girls. Because of the ban Malala dropped out of school in 2008. In 2012 she took step against the ban and spoke publicly about the right to education for women that made her the target. That is when she was shot by a masked gunman and Taliban later stated that she was attacked because she was promoting liberalism. After the attack Malala woke up in Birmingham, England where doctors told her that people around the world are praying for her recovery. Recovering from her injuries the girl who defeated death went on defeat inequality. Now, her story has inspired so many girl who were seeking for education and equal rights around the world. We hope that just like Malala's real life incidents has inspired us just like that her biopic will also motivate people and will change their mentality.
