Thanks to the runaway success of the Pyaar Ka Punchnama franchise and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Kartik Aaryan has become a talk of tinsel town. But if a report in an entertainment website is to be believed, he has become too big for his boots and rubbed Karan Johar the wrong way with his arrogant behavior.
According to the grapevine, Kartik was the first choice to play the second lead in Karan's production Good News. However, he thinks of himself as an Rs 100-crore hero after the success of his last film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. The actor turned down the role saying that he does not want to settle for anything less than the lead.
Now, Kartik has done it again! Apparently, he refused to share the couch with Vicky Kaushal on Karan's chat show, leaving the filmmaker mighty miffed. Karan wanted Kartik and Vicky together on his show as the two upcoming male stars of Bollywood. But Kartik didn't feel comfortable sharing the couch with Vicky. Karan was stunned when he got to know this. He was replaced by Ayushmann Khurrana," a source revealed to the website.
Incidentally, Karan had signed a three-film deal with Kartik last year. The actor had even begun shooting for a Dharma Productions film in November, but things did not work out.
