Overwhelmed Parineeti pens an emotional note after finishing shoot of 'The Girl On The Train'

We have often heard from the actors that they forget the outside world to get into the character. Actors like Ranveer Singh are very famous for cutting off from the world to get into their characters. And here we have another actor who recently was on a digital detox for her forthcoming film.

The artist we are talking about is ‘Parineeti Chopra’ who spent seven weeks in London shooting for her next, ‘The Girl On The Train’. She recently wrapped up the shoot of the film and shared an emotional note with all her fans on her Instagram handle.

Overwhelmed Parineeti wrote, “So, I leave London after 7 weeks, finishing The Girl On The Train. Words fail me. Feelings overwhelm me. This is a film that has for the first time, stayed with me after I've finished it. A character that will live inside me permanently. I miss her. I miss playing her. I feel like I've grown up. I feel so much. But most of all, I feel grateful. Life-changing, in an understatement...”

Further, she added, “I'm smiling as I wrote this, and with that, I head back home - looking forward, with my heart full...”

The film is directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and will release sometime next year.

The film is an official remake of Hollywood film of the same name which starred Emily Blunt as the lead actor. The Hollywood film was helmed by Tate Taylor and was based on the bestselling novel by Paula Hawkins. The film was lauded by the critics and the masses.

Some time ago, Parineeti had also shared her official look from the film, and the audience was left in awe of her expressions and the look.

Agreeing to what Parineeti said, her friend Anushka Sharma also commented, “I feel you”.

The film narrates the story of Rachel, who is an alcoholic and a divorcee and is devastated after a broken marriage. After the divorce, she travels on a train with no specific destination to New York every day. She gets obsessed with a happily married couple during her regular travel but things change drastically when she gets involved in the investigation of the missing man.

This is the most difficult role Parineeti has played till date in her career. Talking about it during an interview, she said I am super excited to be shooting this film because this is a role that I have never experienced before, read before and I think the audience has never experienced this kind of acting piece from me. It's a complete contrast to the kind of personality that is associated with me, so I am excited as an actor to do something completely new.
