Actress Parineeti Chopra has started shooting for her upcoming film "Kesari". Parineeti on Tuesday shared a photograph from an aircraft on her Instagram stories and wrote: "Off for 'Kesari'." She also shared that the photograph was taken by actor Akshay Kumar. Moments later, she shared a video and wrote: "Sigh. The beauty of Wai. 'Kesari'." Wai is in the Satara District in Maharashtra. Earlier stunt lover and male protagonist of 'Kesari' Akshay Kumar had shared a snap from the shoot with a group of children from Afghanistan without revealing the original location, Akshay tweeted;

Akshay had earlier revealed that he and superstar Salman Khan couldn’t work on “Kesari” together. The film is being directed by Anurag Singh. The movie is based on Battle of Saragarhi, it is one of the most epic and legendary battle fought by the brave soldiers of the Sikh regiment, the battle is know to have fought on 12th Sept 1897 between 10,000 Afghans and just 21 Sikh soldiers of 36th Sikh Regiment. “Kesari”, which is slated for 2019 Holi release.
