PM NARENDRA MODI BANS 'LAL BATTI' WHICH STARTS FROM 1ST OF MAY

The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi came into power in 2014 since then he has been bringing changes in the Indian constitution. The changes have been well accepted by many and some went against it, demonetisation was the one change that highly effected the common people. Recently our PM once again came out with a very different idea, which suggested that every individual with a 'Red Beacon' should stop using it. The Red Beacon is the so-called 'Lal Batti' that every Minister uses. PM has put a ban on lal batti as he thinks that every individual in India is VIP and he even took to twitter to say it. https://twitter.com/narendramodi/status/854706068382924801 Narendra Modi came up with this idea because the day he went to airport to welcome Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina, all the other vehicles were stopped so that the road was made clear. In the traffic was an ambulance which was carrying a wounded child, the public made the video of it which went viral. The video also caught the eyes of the PM which made him take this step. It will be officially banned from 1st of May, but the emergency vehicles like ambulance, fire engines, and police vans will only be allowed to use a blue beacon. The Finance Minister Arun Jaitley was asked about the step that was taken by PM Modi, to which he said that; "There will be no exceptions". Smriti Irani the Textile minister was the first one to apply the step that was taken by PM Modi. She even took to social media to share a picture of her car without a Lal Batti. https://twitter.com/smritiirani/status/854685074402443264
