PRESIDENT'S DAUGHTER GIVEN GROUND DUTY IN AIR INDIA

Swati, who does not use her surname, was serving as a cabin crew on Air India's long-haul Boeing 787 and Boeing 777 flights. But being a president's daughter has its own pros and cons. President Ram Nath Kovind's daughter Swati has now be assigned ground duties because of security reasons, a leading daily reported. For nearly a month Swati has been deputed with Air India's integration department at the airline's headquarters now. An airline source explained, “As a President’s daughter, I don’t think she can fly as a crew with security personnel around. It is not possible to block so many passenger seats.”
