PUNJAB WON'T BAN CONTROVERSIAL FILM 'PADMAVATI' SAYS CM AMARINDER SINGH

The much controversial movie which was observing a nationwide ban under the influence of hardliner groups has at last extended some support. Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh during the past weekend has made it clear that he would not stop the screening of the controversial film "Padmavati" in the state. The minister stated;

It's a free country, with free business opportunity for all.
CM further added it was the responsibility of the producers to ensure that history
is projected in its correct perspective.
He added;
While different historical perspectives can be there, any attempt to completely falsify historical facts cannot be tolerated.
Capt. Amarinder Singh said that the current age children should necessarily acquire knowledge through the audio-visual medium rather than by reading. In the end, according to a report in a leading news service, the minister was quoted;
as far as Punjab was concerned, there would be no bar on the release of "Padmavati" as anything can be shown here as long as it does not hurt religious sentiments.
Maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali would surely be a bit relieved after Punjab CM's latter statements. What's your take on this news do let us know by commenting on the section below?
