RAJKUMAR RAO'S STREE TEASER CLAIMS: 'MARD KO DARD HOGA'

Rajkumar Rao has officially released the trailer of his upcoming film, Stree on Twitter. This film is going to be a horror comedy starring Rajkumar, Shraddha Kapoor and Pankaj Tripathi, and directed by Amar Kaushik. In the Thursday tweet, Rao posted the teaser and wrote, “Stree ke baare mein zyada nahi jaanta hoon, bas sab kehte hain aa rahi hai woh." https://twitter.com/RajkummarRao/status/1004298838776209409 The 59 second-long teaser starts with a message that it is based on a ridiculously true phenomenon. It takes us to the silent streets of a semi-urban area. There is a message written in red which reads, 'O Stree, Kal aana' on the walls. The eerie atmosphere creates suspence with a voice-over saying, “Yha koi mard nahi”. The teaser ends with a shot showing a shadow figure leading a pair of feet hanging in the air. It is shot in a small town of Chanderi, which is near Bhopal. Shraddha Kapoor also shared a photo of first day of shooting of Stree with the Newton star on social media. She wrote, "Andddd we have a title! Shoot starts with our hilariously scary #Stree@RajkummarRao @maddockfilms ‪Directed by ‬Amar Kaushik ‪Produced by #DineshVijan, Raj and DK. ‪Written by Raj and DK." I feel that she was itching to do a comedy for a while. And I feel her look and the way she is performing in this film is fantastic. I feel that with this film she will be remembered... I believed that she had this quirkiness which I feel has not been explored.
A very thrilling poster has also been released by the team which says, “Mard ko dard hoga” at the end.
