RANA RANBIR DISTRESSED ABOUT 'SAT SHRI AKAL' BEING WRITTEN AS 'SSA' ON SOCIAL MEDIA

We live in an age where everyone is in a hurry. With time languages have also seen a great change. There is a whole different language for texting and social media. People tend to only use short forms or slangs for any word they are trying to say via social media. Take for example the Punjabi Language, many a time people write SSA for Sat Shri Akal and WMK for Waheguru Meher Kare. Sat Shri Akal is a greeting gesture which translates to Truth is God or God is Truth. And Waheguru Meher Kare translates to God Bless. Although SSA and WMK has been common among the netizens this has gravely concerned actor Rana Ranbir. The actor who won hearts with the roles like Shampy in Jatt & Juliet or Lottery in Ardaas seemed distressed about the matter. He took to Instagram to relay people a message and cleared the air. In a video shared by him, he not only requested people to greet properly (even on social media), he also talked about the difference between Bhaji and Paaji. He says that the Bhaji is the correct word if you are addressing your brother (Elder or Younger). And Paaji on the other hand is a negative word which is used to address liars. He urged people to write the proper words i.e. Sat Shri Akal and not SSA and respect the language.
