Rockstar Ranbir is all set to take our breath away with his much-awaited performance in Sanju. His commendable work in the biopic has been appreciated by everyone. Like his every other film, Ranbir has once again taken a very challenging role and yet made it so easy to look at. While he is making all the good headlines across the country, Salman Khan had a different view on Ranbir’s role in the movie. During the promotions,  Salman was asked to comment on Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju. To this, Salman said that he wondered why Sanjay Dutt did not play the last 7-8 years of his life in the movie. He believed that no one could justify to the character than Sanjay himself. However, he later added that Rajkumar Hirani is a sensible filmmaker and that he is assured that he has made a good movie. According to Pinkvilla.com, during a recent media interaction, Ranbir was asked to reply on Bhai’s comment. He said, “It has never happened that a person played himself in his own biopic. This destroys the effect of a character. I knew that I will be compared to Sanjay Dutt and that is why I have tried my best to do justice to his role.”

“Whether people see me in 40-year old Sanjay Dutt's avatar or 20-year old, they should feel that they are watching an artist who is playing Sanjay Dutt. It is correct that I cannot become a second Sanjay Dutt,” he added.
Ranbir also took to Twitter to interact with his fans with the hashtag #AskRanbir. While talking about the film, he expressed how difficult it was for him to play a character as intriguing as Sanjay Dutt. When one of his fans asked how tough it was to act in a biopic and do things the way that person had done, Ranbir replied, ‘Hey Marvelis! I must confess that it’s terrifying and exciting at the same time!’

Starring Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza, Paresh Rawal and many more brilliant actors, Sanju will hit the screen on 29 June.
