The heartthrob of millions Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor will be transforming into a never seen avatar for his upcoming Yash Raj flick titled as 'Shamshera'. It is for the second time that the 35-year-old actor will be working with the production house after a gap of almost nine years. His last project with the banner was 'Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year'. The film is to be directed by Karan Malhotra. Ranbir in his official statement disclosed;
'Shamshera' is exactly the film I was looking for. While growing up watching Hindi commercial cinema, I had an image of what a film hero should be doing. 'Shamshera' allows me to do everything that I had imagined and it's a very exciting project for me.He further added;
Karan is going to take me completely out of my comfort zone and I'm looking forward to this challenge.In the first look of the film, trending number 2 on the video-sharing website Youtube, Ranbir appears in fierce dacoit carrying an axe and a quiver full of arrows. The best part of it is the heavy loaded dialogue,"KARAM SE DACAIT...DHARAM SE AZAAD", if the first look comes with such spells just think what package the movie will come with. 'Shamshera' is set to go on the floors by the end of this year and shooting will wrap by mid-2019. Ranbir, who will next be seen in Sanjay Dutt biopic 'Sanju,' is currently working on Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra,' which will feature him as a superhero.
