Ranjit Singh Bajwa, prominently known by the stage name Ranjit Bawa was born in Wadala Granthian village near Gurdaspur. "Jatt Di Akal" which broke many song records in the Punjabi music scene gave this mesmerising singer a huge success overnight. Other than singing he has also been part of movies like 'Toofan Singh', 'Bhalwan Singh', 'Vekh Baraatan Challiyan', and 'Sarvann', as an actor he has been much admired by the critics and audiences. Today is Ranjit Bawa's 29th birth anniversary and instead of fans presenting him with a present, the singer himself has a surprise for his fans. It is his latest single which has just been released a few hours back. 'Ik Tare Wala' song is a fictional depiction from nothing to something wherein Bawa success journey as a singer has been shown marvelously. Since his schools days, Bawa has been a great admirer of music. It was Bawa's teacher known as Master Mangal who trained him and motivated him to participate in music competitions. During his struggling days, the singer used to sing a Pakistani song, 'Bol Miti Deya Baweya', which later on got added to his name and made him popular known as ‘Bawa’. That is the real reason why he his called Ranjit Bawa. Once a video went viral wherein a cancer patient admitted to the Rajindra Hospital Patiala kept his wish to Ranjit Bawa, to sing a song from his written diary of songs. As soon as the viral video reached Bawa, he rushed to the given address and met the patient, took over the dairy from him. Not only did he listened to the songs by his patient fan but also prayed for his quick recovery.
