RANVEER SINGH HAS GOT A COMPETITION AND WE AREN'T KIDDING

Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy has gripped the nation with its magic and the overwhelming response the film is getting has culminated in the form of box office numbers. While the Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt starrer is slowly heading towards the Rs 100 crore club in a matter of days, it is making a lot of noise that has reached the ears of international celebs and many others.

In fact, Will Smith went gaga after watching the movie and decided to post a special video congratulating Ranveer for his role. Besides him, the film also made an impact on 'Dhadak' boy Ishaan Khatter. The actor too shared a special video wherein he rapped a few lines on a beat in honor of one of his favorite films.

Just like Ranveer, Ishaan flaunts his rapping skills and we are surely impressed by this. The actor penned the lyrics and rapped the lines with shouting ‘Dj Khatter.’ The actor was influenced by Vijay Varma's Moeen Bhai character from the film and posted the video for one of Zoya Akhtar's best characters.

His post read;

“Moeen bhai bole machao toh majboori thi, kya? In honour of one of my favourite films in a long time and Moeen bhai, one of @zoieakhtar ’s best characters. Thank you @itsvijayvarma for making him a flesh and blood human being. @ranveersingh @aliaabhatt @siddhantchaturvedi @ozajay straight up gangstas,”.

On the work front, the young actor hasn’t signed any other film, however, rumors were floating that the actor might be considered for a role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next big project.

Ishaan, who is the half-brother of Shahid Kapoor, made his acting debut with Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds. The film also starred Malavika Mohanan as its female lead.  He was next seen in Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak which featured Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor.
