Saif Ali Kha's daughter Sara Ali Khan is also in Bollywood and she made a big launch with Simmba and got positive response for Kedarnath her most recent release Love Aaj Kal tanked at the box office and Sara's performance also received a lot of criticism.
When asked about how he comforted his daughter after her film failed to do wonders, Saif Ali Khan revealed that he texted Sara to check up on her and if she is doing well.
“She is tough and smart and gets things done," Saif Ali Khan said, adding that he told Sara, "You have to go through this."
He further went on to add, “This is something one has to go through on their one and sometimes, it is good to have a reality check.”
“One shouldn't want to be the kind of an actor who hasn't seen success ever and can't walk when it happens," the actor concluded.
Love Aaj Kal was one of the most anticipated films of 2020 not because of the name it shared with the previously successful Love Aaj Kal , but the lead pair of Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan.
People were supremely curious to see their pairing on screen because they were rumored to be dating each other during the shooting of the film but, they parted ways just before its release .
