In his career spanning over 25 years, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has given many spectacular performances in films like Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Hum Tum and Omkara to name a few. The superstar, who has multiple projects lined up in his kitty, is all set to make his small screen debut soon.
A report
in a leading daily has stated that Saif will make his TV debut with the show Kahaan Hum
Kahaan Tum. The upcoming show which is a love story features
Dipika Kakar and Karan V Grover as leads. As per the report, Saif, who will
play a sutradhar, started shooting for his portions of the show on Tuesday at
Mehboob studio in Bandra.
Talking
about the same, the publication quoted a source as saying,
"Saif
shot a sequence where the leads are deciding where to go on a date. He shot
alone for the part which featured a monologue and involved voice modulation as
he is also shown giving voiceover for the female protagonist. The shoot went on
for four-five hours."
This is
not the first time a Bollywood celebrity has been roped in as a narrator for a
TV show. Last year, The King of romance Shah Rukh Khan was the one to introduce
starstruck lovers Anurag and Prerna from Kasautii Zindagii Kay to the audience.
On the film front, Saif will be starring in Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior. The film also stars his Omkara co-actor Ajay
Devgn.
Apart from this, Saif has
a series of films lined up in his kitty. The actor is soon to be seen in Jay
Shewakramani’s Jawaani Jaaneman with
Tabu and Pooja Bedi’s debutante daughter Alaia Furniturewalla.
The star also has Pavan Kirpalani's horror comedy, Bhoot Police in the pipeline. The movie
also features Fatima Sana Shaikh and Ali Fazal in key roles. It will go on
the floors in August.
