SALMAN KHAN AND 8 MORE B-TOWN STARS SUED FOR 'MILLION DOLLAR' LAWSUIT

Salman Khan has always been one of the most most controversial actors of Bollywood. One of the most popular stars of B-town, Salman Khan was previously convicted in blackbuck case of 1998 and now it is the US government who has alleged him. A US media company, Vibrant Media Group Private Limited has filed a lawsuit against Sallu Bhai, along with 8 other Bollywood stars for breaching their contracts. But they refused to perform at the concert which was going to held at Sears Centre in Chicago. The group had to suffer the loss of $1 million after canceling the show. They had initially agreed to postpone the concert due to the unavailability of the celebrities. But at the end, they had to cancel the concert since Salman Khan could not leave India due to legal issues in Rajasthan.

All calls to Mr Khan, his agents, and other artists, for the return of the funds, have gone unanswered
The media group also claims that rather than paying the company the advance money back, Salman Khan even agreed to perform with another promoter. Vibrant Media had paid more than $200,000 to Salman as an advance. Moreover, they had paid $40,000 to Katrina Kaif and $36,000 to Sonakshi Sinha which has neither been returned to the group. The lawsuit was filed before Chicago-based Northern District Court of Illinois, Eastern Division on June 10. It has been assigned to District Judge Sharon Johnson Coleman.
