Lately, Salman Khan has been in the news for various reasons. From releasing the official Race 3 logo and poster to recommending Bobby Deol for Kick 2, he has gained immense attention. Making the headlines again, the verdict concerning the Salman Khan's Kankani blackbuck poaching case will be announced on 5 April.
However, the case involves not only Salman Khan. Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Sonali Bendre, Tabu, and a local, Dushyant Singh were with Salman at the time the incident occurred. Reportedly, they all went on a shooting expedition, killing two blackbucks in the Kankani area of Jodhpur. This happened during the shoot of the movie 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in 1999.
Wondering why the case has taken so much time?
Well, the local Bishnoi community considers the Blackbuck to be the reincarnation of their religious Guru Bhagwan Jambeshwar. Now when it comes to religious matters, the cases are indeed very sensitive.
As reported by India Today, Hastimal Saraswat Salman's lawyer and lawyers of the other parties earlier mentioned, were present for the court hearing. The verdict will be held at a local court in Jodhpur.
On the work front, Salman Khan is currently busy with his upcoming film 'Race 3' starring Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Jacqueline Fernandez. He will also be giving the lyrics to one of the songs. Next, Salman will be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar's directorial, 'Bharat' which is a Hindi remake of the Korean film 'Ode to my Father'.
