Hockey player Sandeep Singh who has made India proud at several levels recently visited London where he thanked Sony pictures, Chitrangda Singh, Diljit Dosanjh, Taapsee Pannu, Angad Bedi and Deepak Singh for making ‘Soorma’. Soorma is a biographical picture made on the life of Hockey player Sandeep Singh. It is directed by Shaad Ali. Sandeep is a Hockey legend and ex-captain of the Indian Hockey team whose story is so inspiring that it needed to be told to the audience. He took to social media to express gratitude towards the producers for taking his life story to the big screen. He tweeted,

He has brought India pride by representing the country at 2012’s London Olympics where he was the highest goal scorer in the qualifiers. The drag-flickers journey of hard work wins and losses will be portrayed by the famous actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh in Sony pictures and Chitrangda Singh collaboration.
