The much awaited trailer of Sanjay Dutt biopic- Sanju, is out. The trailer has showed us the different phases of actor's life. There's no denying that Ranbir has done total justice to Sanjay Dutt's character. The actor has completely transformed his body for the movie. The trailer showed us the quintessential Sanjay Dutt, right from his very first movie Rocky to his jail term. The trailer is less focused on the glitz and glam and shows a completely different face of his love life, linkups, underworld connections and 1993 Mumbai blast case which rammed the actor into controversy. Recently when Rishi Kapoor watched the trailer of this film he was completely surprised to see Ranbir in a totally different avatar. He said that it was really hard for him to recognise his son, he felt like he's watching Sanjay Dutt himself. It would be interesting to see Ranbir in a beefed up avatar as till now he has been playing chocolaty boy characters. Sanjay Dutt has always remained in news for his controversial underworld linking, all the scandals involving him and his love life. Raju Hirani, the director of the biopic has worked with Dutt in Munna Bhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munna Bhai and is a close friend of the actor. This is the first time when Ranbir will be working with Rajkumar Hirani. The film has a stellar ensemble starcast which includes Sonam Kapoor as Tina Munim, Manisha Koirala as Nargis Dutt, Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt, Vicky Kaushal as Sanjay Dutt's childhood friend and Dia Mirza as Manyata Dutt. It also features Jim Sarbh and Boman Irani in important roles. The movie also features Ranbir's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil co-star Anushka Sharma who has previously worked with Rajkumar Hirani in PK. The movie is scheduled to release on 29th June and we just can't wait to know the whole story about a life that has piqued interest of two generations.
