16 year old Saurabh Chaudhary has clinched Gold in Junior Men's 10 m Air Pistol with a final score of 245.5 at ISSF World Championship held in Changwon on Thursday. Saurabh has broke his own record of scoring 240.7 in Men's 10m Air Pistol where he also won gold at Asian Games 2018. [caption id="attachment_47136" align="alignnone" width="397"] SOURCE[/caption] He has also left the senior record behind by 2.4 points which was of 243.6 points held by Ukraine shooter Oleh Omelchuck. Setting a new world record he also climbed to the top of the podium with Lim Hojin of Korea and India's Arjun Singh Cheema finishing third and fourth respectively. On the other hand Arjun Cheema won bronze with a score of 218. The Indian junior team also bagged silver with a combined score of 1730 by Saurabh, Arjun and Anmol. In the Junior match, Saurabh qualified third by shooting 581 and Arjun was secured 6th rank with a score of 577. In the finals, Saurabh took over the range by shooting higher 10s.
