Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most respected actors from the film fraternity. His charm and charisma is not just restricted to India but across the globe but seems like some of the Orissa communities are not so happy with the actor. Just before the actor’s maiden visit to the state Kalinga Sena have come out with an open challenge.
Shah Rukh Khan is all set to inaugurate the Men's Hockey World Cup at the Kalinga Stadium in Orrisa on November 27. However, the Kalinga Sena, a fringe outfit operating in Orissa, have come out with open threats against the superstar before his visit.
The Kalinga Sena has come out and said that they are ready to throw black ink at his face and show him black flags upon his arrival in Orissa. To the uninitiated, this issue goes back to 2001 in which the Kalinga Sena claimed that Shah Rukh Khan’s film Asoka distorted historical facts. Hemanth Rath, the chief of Kalinga Sena demanded an apology from Shah Rukh Khan as he has accused him of hurting the sentiments of people in Orissa in his film Asoka.
Earlier, the actor took to his Twitter where he thanked Orissa Chief minister for making him a part of their event. Well, those who don't know, this year the Hockey World Cup is being held in the South East Indian state of Orissa.
DCP Anup Sahu said that they will take adequate security measures for the visit of Shah Rukh Khan during the world cup. He also said that a schedule is yet to be chalked out. Well, only time can tell how things are, but we just hope that everything runs by smoothly.
The actor also shared a small teaser of Hockey anthem. The new sports anthem is unique in itself as it has two biggest names associated with it. The anthem has music legend A R Rahman's music in it and it has featured Shah Rukh Khan in the video.
