The underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim has prime properties in Mumbai's Nagpada. Supreme Court today ordered Centre to seize his seven properties possessed by his late mother and sister.

Earlier in 1988, the government sealed the properties. But Ibrahim's mother and sister had challenged the takeover after the 1993 serial blasts in Mumbai that killed 257 innocents. Both Amina and Hasina preceded Supreme Court after the tribunal. The Delhi High Court dismissed their takeover order in 1998.
His three properties in South Mumbai have auctioned for Rs 11.58 crore in November 2017. A media stated that the most wanted fugitive mafia boss has a link to series of properties across Britain as well.

Well, the Supreme Court will allow the central government to seize seven properties including some flats in Nagpada. Dawood Ibrahim is the mastermind for the 1993 Mumbai blasts. The UN Security Council's IS and al-Qaida Sanctions Committee has listed him as a global terrorist.
