SENIOR CONGRESS LEADER KAPIL SIBAL MAKES HIS PUNJABI MUSIC DEBUT AS LYRICIST

In the Punjabi entertainment industry, we have many times noticed singer turning actor, actor turning singer, lyricist turning singer and actor turning politician. But did you ever heard that any politician turned into lyricist, well if not then please update your knowledge because former cabinet minister and senior advocate Kapil Sibal has just turned lyricist.

His first song which has already been released has successfully garnered over million views in 24 hours.

Titled as ‘Kyun russ gaya’ hit YouTube in a soft launch under the “Sad Songs 2018” category on the official Youtube handle of White Hill Music. Talking to The Tribune Kapil Sibal revealed;

“This song is about pathos, about the nuances of love, longing and parting. There are all kinds of relationships. You can stay together or apart. How you handle the situation is important. My first Punjabi song is essentially about parting with love and civility.", Sibal told.

Voice to the melody is by 'Zorawar' and music to the melody is by 'Cheetah'. Sibal had in June 2016 made a debut as a lyricist in Bollywood with a love song “Tere Bina” for the film “Shorgul”.
