There's no doubt in saying that whenever it comes to social work then Shah Rukh Khan does everything that he can do. Now, as we all know that back in his college days the actor was too much involved in co-curricular activities. Apart from doing theatre performances, he also did great in Hockey. His love for this sport was seen in the movie Chak De India where he played a Hockey player turned coach.
Recently, the actor came out with a special Hockey anthem which is made for the Hockey world cup which began just a day before. The music of this Hockey Anthem is composed by the music maestro A R Rahman. The actor was also present at the inauguration ceremony event. The actor said;
"I did play a little bit of hockey in school and college. I used to play as a center-forward, and right opposite me was obviously a goalkeeper"
We got our hands on a video, which is shared by one of his fan pages. In the video, Shah Rukh is seen performing his famous monologue from the 2007 blockbuster, Chak De! India. In the film, SRK played the role of Kabir Khan, coach to Indian Women's hockey team. SRK, at the ceremony, said the iconic 'Sattar Minute' dialogue and it was indeed a proud moment for everyone. After the event, SRK took to his Twitter page and posted a picture of himself from the ceremony holding a hockey stick. He tweeted, "Thank u Odisha for all the excitement, love & the grand beginning to the World Cup Hockey. @naveen_odisha it was lovely to meet u sir. To all the players have a great tournament....& yes..Chak De India!"
On the work front, Shah rukh is all geared up with his much-anticipated work ‘Zero’ and soon after this, the actor will begin shooting for ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha’.
