Shah Rukh Khan is on a roll. For a change, he is quite active on social media since yestermorning. Earlier this Monday, he took to Twitter and paid a tribute to Rahul Dev and Mukul Dev's father Hari Dev, who passed away a couple of days back. He then replied to Salman Khan after he released the trailer of Bharat. A few minutes later, he rocked the internet when he released a video urging his countrymen to vote. It looks like taking a cue out of Gully Boy, in the video, Shah Rukh Khan is seen rapping.
Now, a new video clip of his has gone viral. The 30-second clip is a part of a documentary titled Filmisthaan. The video is shared by filmmaker Yasmin Kidwai from her documentary. In the video, Shah Rukh is seen talking about his idea of India. Yasmin's caption to the video reads,
"Hear King Khan @iamsrk himself on his idea of India- very grateful that he gave his valuable time to speak to me for my documentary Filmisthaan-The Euphoric state of Bollywood on India & our intrinsic pluralistic culture -"
In the video clip, Shah Rukh says,
"1600 languages and dialects in our country and every 10 kms or 15 kms the dialect changes. I don't know how many, 100 of religions co-exist here. Being diverse is a good this, being divisive is not. Like art has no religion. I think a country really has no religion. And all of them amalgamated together. India is a beautiful painting and all colors just enhance each other. You take away one color or start saying this color is better than the other, I think the painting is not a painting anymore. "
recently, the actor was also present at Critics Choice Awards 2019 where he spoke his heart out on the way critics are judging films. The actor also spoke about the way they should make films as a filmmaker.
In another Twitter conversation, the actor shares his
nostalgic moment as one of his fans shared a clip from his film 'Anjaam' on its 25 year completion. The actor also told not to try this. Check it out here;
