Richa Chadha who rose to fame with the 2012 movie Gangs of Wasseypur will be soon seen in Jia Aur Jia, which also stars Kalki Koechlin. It is almost a decade since the actress' debut in Bollywood but she still considers herself as an outsider. In an interview with The India Express, the actress revealed some dark shades of Bollywood. While spilled some beans about the industry, she also shared her times of struggle. Revealing about the struggle she says that from her initial days in Bollywood and even Gangs Of Wasseypur she didn't have any PR or stylist. So whenever she had to attend events she would buy a dress from a mall and would have her make-up done in a Salon there. She said that there was no one to guide her, no one to say what to do and what not to. She said that some actresses would poor-mouth each other and would even be ready to sleep with a producer as a bonus. Many actresses loose roles like this. " I lost a lot of work like that. A lot of work! So, I have learned the hard way." She said, "When I came to the industry, one PR person told me, ‘Send a text message to this actor. Go on a date with him.’ And I said, ‘But he is married!’. Then this person said, ‘Oh babes! Why didn’t you send a message to this cricketer? It would have been good for your career, PR and public image.’"  "I can’t date anyone on a transactional basis. But these are the kind of advices I used to get." added Richa. The actress said that no matter the length of time she spends in the industry she will always be an outsider. "For me, a Friday is a Friday. It is a day where a film releases. That’s it."
