Seems like Bollywood has found a new success mantra in biopics. From 'Marykom' to 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' our filmmakers had left no key in turning lives of these sportspersons into stories which could inspire generations. Now adding to the list is P V Sindhu biopic. Sindhu is a professional Badminton player who owns the crown of being the first Indian player who has won silver in Olympics. She came to international attention during BWF world ranking which took place in 2012 while she was just 17 years old. She is honored with Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award in 2013 and Padam Shri award in 2016 by Government of India. When asked that who could be a perfect suit to play her character in the film, then without wasting any time she took Deepika Padukone's name. She further added that Deepika is a great actor and she would love to see the long-legged beauty doing her role in the film. However, she was prompt to add that she understood the fact that the makers have the first right to decide whom to cast for this role. She was all smiles about the idea of a film on her life and claimed that she is eagerly waiting for it. Sonu Sood who will be producing this biopic, and has already shown interest in working with Deepika Padukone. The two have previously worked together in Farah Khan directorial 'Happy New Year'. After investing in stories like Kung Fu Yoga and Tutak Tutak Tutiyan, Sonu Sood will now be seen producing a flick that tells the tale of nation's pride, PV Sindhu. Now we all know that her father Prakash Padukone was one of the greatest badminton players of his times. Even Deepika has been a national level badminton player during her school days.
