Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan, in a recent interview, disclosed that he was initially offered the lead role in the film Khiladi, which ultimately became a breakthrough for Akshay Kumar. Arbaaz cited a time crunch as the reason for not accepting the role and revealed that he had already committed to another director at that time. Despite missing out on Khiladi, Arbaaz made his Bollywood debut with the film Daraar in 1996.

The actor explained that after turning down Khiladi, the same directors, Abbas-Mustan, approached him with the film Daraar. Arbaaz received positive feedback for his performance in Daraar, where he starred alongside established actors like Juhi Chawla and Rishi Kapoor. Reflecting on the experience, Arbaaz acknowledged the challenges of being a newcomer pitted against seasoned actors but expressed gratitude for the support he received from the director and co-stars.

Arbaaz Khan, the son of Salim Khan and Salma Khan and brother of Salman Khan, went on to have a successful career in Bollywood, featuring in films like Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Hello Brother, Garv: Pride and Honour, Bhagam Bhag, Shootout at Lokhandwala, and the Dabangg series. Additionally, he ventured into film production with Arbaaz Khan Productions. Recently, Arbaaz made headlines for his second marriage to makeup artist Sshura Khan.
