A study found that eating more than 45 grams of chocolate per week like about two bars worth can lead to a 20% decrease in stroke risk among women. As chocolate contains flavonoids, whose antioxidant properties, it helps in the reduction of the stroke risks.

Protection against blood inflammation


Eating dark chocolate bar per week can decrease the heart diseases. About 6.7 grams of dark chocolate per day keeps the blood inflammation-inducing proteins away.

Protection of the skin from the Sun


The Dark chocolates consists of Flavonoids that protect the skin from the UV Rays of the Sun. The Flavones from the cocoa improves the blood flow to the skin protecting from the sun damage, but this doesn’t totally means that you can skip your sunscreen.

Strengthens the brain


The dark chocolate shields cells in your brain, and accordingly protects it from damage caused by stroke Epicatechin, a compound found in chocolate, significantly reduced the brain damage.

So as we have listed all the benefits of the chocolates, it doesn’t mean that you start consuming the chocolates every day. It is still full of calories and can leave you in great trouble.
