Ranjit Bawa who celebrated his birthday Yesterday also released his much-awaited song Ik Taare Wala on the same day. It is the title track from the album with the same name. The song is doing great on the charts. In just a day it has amassed more than a million views on YouTube. Though everything is great now, looks like it wasn't an easy decision for Ranjit Bawa to put out this track. Among the many obstacles, he must have faced while doing this record was the rejection. Apparently many people told him not to do this song. They said it was a huge risk and people won't listen to it. But not paying attention to any of those comments, the singer kept on working diligently. And we can already see the result of his diligence and faith in himself. On an Instagram post, he writes,
(In today's commercial age where there are songs about weapons, alchohol and vulgar ones some people told me Ik Tare Wala is a huge risk. Nobody will listen to it)[caption id="attachment_31742" align="alignnone" width="806"] Instagram/Ranjit Bawa[/caption] Punjabi songs are definitely one of the most entertaining ones. They can light up any party. But apart from all this, they have also been blamed for publicising drugs, weapons and violence. Just a month ago, Punjab Police (SPP's) also met up with the singers and discussed about the matter. The police said that if anyone continues to do so strict action will be taken against them. Ranjit Bawa was among the first to meet up with the Police. And with Ik Tare Wala, he is literally living up to the mark. The lyrics are pure and even the music video is touching. This song is just a 'right on the face' answer to all those who told him it won't work.
