Gurpreet Ghuggi is the most versatile Punjabi artist who has made a firm and a prominent mark for himself in the Punjabi film industry. Be it a serious role in Ardaas or a comedy type role in Carry On Jatta, the actor never fails to do justice with his character. And yet again, this self-made man is coming up with another Punjabi film which we are sure is going to be a blockbuster film.

Gurpreet Ghuggi will now be seen in a film titled ‘Son of Manjeet Singh’. This is a film which will be portraying the story of every family in the country where children have different aspirations from themselves and the parents have totally different aspirations from their children. And then the clash of point of views in the family when it comes to studying and following the dreams is shown in the trailer of the film which was released today.

Gurpreet Ghuggi is playing the character of a father who has a son and a daughter. In order to give his son the luxury of a good education he often takes loans from people. But his son, portrayed by Damanpreet Singh, aspires to become a cricketer and is often seen in the playground playing cricket. This clash of point of views leads to disharmony and heated arguments between the father and the son.

Damanpreet Singh is debuting in Punjabi film industry with this film. He was previously seen playing the role of Maharaja Ranjit Singh in the TV series which was broadcast on Life Ok channel. And the debutant has literally nailed his role in the film.

Producers of the film are Kapil Sharma, Seven Colors Motion Pictures and Gurpreet Ghuggi. Well, this is an amazing news for all the Kapil Sharma fans too as this will be the second produced film by the comedian-actor. Firangi was the first film that he produced. The film is being helmed by Vikram Grover.

Other than Gurpreet Ghuggi and Damanpreet Singh, the audience will also get to see Japji Khaira, Karamjit Anmol, BN Sharma, and Harby Sandhu in some of the pivotal roles in the film. The film is slated to hit the theatres on 12th October.
