SONIA MANN BAGS A BOLLYWOOD PROJECT 'HAPPY HARDY AND HEER' WITH HIMESH RESHAMMIYA

Songs did by Punjabi singers being featured in a Bollywood movie is an old thing. In recent times, many of the Punjabi actors have made their grand Bollywood debuts and their movies did exceptionally well. From Diljit Dosanjh to Jassie Gill, these actors have proved their acting mettle in Bollywood movies such as ‘Soorma’ and ‘Happy Phirr Bhaag Jayegi’.

Recently, we heard that Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa has also bagged a role in Remo Dsouza’s upcoming dance film ‘Street Dancer 3D’. This is the third film in his ABCD franchise and it will be starring Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead.


And now, there is another Punjabi actress who is all set to rule all over Bollywood once again, and that actress is Sonia Mann. The artist is making her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Happy Hardy and Heer’. The film will also be starring singer-composer turned actor Himesh Reshammiya. Recently she shared the official poster for the same;


The film will be a musical romance and it will see Himesh playing two different characters. The upcoming film is directed by Raka and it is produced by Deepshikha Deshmukh. Its music will be released on the official YouTube channel of Tips Music. The film has been shot in the Scottish city of Glasgow and it is scheduled for release in September.

Himesh is best known for his album ‘Aap Kaa Suroor’ which was released back in the year 2006. In 2007, the singer-composer made his acting debut with its namesake film. Apart from this, Himesh also has ‘The Expose Returns’ in his kitty. The film will be a sequel to his 2014 film ‘The Expose’.

Talking about ‘Happy Hardy and Heer’, it would be interesting to see what audiences will get to see from him this time.
