STOP BEING JUDGMENTAL ABOUT ACTORS, SAYS PARINEETI CHOPRA

We often come across the stories about actors turning up late on the shootings and actresses getting fussy about their costumes and make-up. Well, there's one actress who rubbishes these accusations on her fellow celebrities. The bubbly actor, Parineeti Chopra, in an interview with a leading daily, shared her opinions about the life of an actor under the constant media glare. The actress talked to the daily to bust the myths around the lifestyle and professionalism of Bollywood actors, who are often accused of being difficult. She was quoted saying,

The biggest myth people have about actors is that they throw tantrums. People think actors are difficult [to handle] and have an attitude problem. Actually, that is not the case. Actors are humble pies.
She also spoke about the pros and cons of being under the constant media scrutiny and living a life that is judged by all,
They (actors) have to put themselves out there and the public scrutinizes them. We have to be that much careful about everything we do. Our lives are demanding and not the same as a commoner's life. For instance, if you do something at a party and come up to me, and ask me to do that same thing on stage; I can't do it because there are lakhs of people watching me. But when I refuse, people say I have an attitude problem
The actress, who was recognized for her acting talent right from her debut in Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, has always been quite vocal about her views. Parineeti Chopra is also on the same bandwagon where she is also judged, from her public appearances to her statements, everything is for public perusal. She told,
People assume things about every actor. When I say no to something, it's misunderstood as me being difficult. But I am putting myself out there every day, for everything. And I wish that there was a way to make people understand, but unfortunately till you don't act in films, you will not understand that.
Parineeti Chopra, who recently started shooting for Namaste England alongside Arjun Kapoor, has completed seven years in Bollywood. She has projects like Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and Akshay Kumar-starrer Kesari in her kitty this year.
