Sumeet Vyas has been in the industry for quite some time now. But the talented actor has finally got his much-deserved due after the release of Veere Di Wedding. He had started his Bollywood career with Sridevi-starrer English Vinglish. Sumeet gained popularity with the web-series Permanent Roommates. In fact, the actor has actively written for films, web series as well as theatres. After his recent success, Veere Di Wedding, the actor has finally won recognition and is receiving calls for pivotal roles from the acclaimed filmmakers. According to the latest reports, Bareilly Ki Barfi helmer, Ashwini Iyer Tiwari has approached Vyas to cast him in her next directorial. The film will also star the Queen of B-town, Kangana Ranaut. If the sources are to be believed, Kangana was very impressed by Vyas' acting talent and had recommended his name to Ashwini. Sumeet has been approached to play the role of a Kabbadi player alongside the Tanu Weds Manu-star. Although nothing much has been revealed, the film will likely be a sports-drama based on an annual National-level Kabaddi Championship. As per the sources, the still-to-be-titled flick will go on the floors in October this year. This will be the second time Kangana will play the role of a sportsperson on the silver screen (after Tanu Weds Manu Returns). She will undergo a 15-day workshop to learn the basic techniques of the sport. For time being actor-cum-writer, Sumeet Vyas will be seen in the second season of the web series 'It's Not That Simple'. He will, once again, share the screen space with his Veere Di Wedding co-star Swara Bhaskar in an untitled horror film. Sumeet is also busy with the scripting for the second season of popular web series 'Tripling' that will go on floor by the end of this year.
