TEAM "21 SARFAROSH: SARAGARHI 1897' VISITS SRI DARBAR SAHIB TO SEEK BLESSINGS

Actors Mukul Dev and Mohit Raina had visited Sri Darbar Sahib yesterday to seek blessings of the living Guru of Sikhs, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji for their upcoming show "21 Sarfarosh: Saragarhi 1897". Originally, 'Battle of Saragarhi' is the most historic event of the Sikh history from British ruled India. It was one of the most epic and legendary battles fought by the brave soldiers of the Indian Army, the battle is known to have fought on 12th Sept 1897 between 10,000 Afghans and just 21 Sikh soldiers of 36th Sikh Regiment. Actor Mukul Dev, will be seen playing a tribal Afghan leader named Gul Badshah in “21 Sarfarosh: Saragarhi 1897”, the actor said;
The tranquility of Sri Harmandir Sahib, the Sarovar, the heavenly experience makes you connect with the innermost you. I remember coming to the Golden Temple for the first time with my father, the memory is still so fresh in my mind. Post that, I have been here multiple times; each time, I go back with a new experience, a new learning.
Actor Mohit, best known for the mythological show "Devon Ke Dev Mahadev", will be essaying the role of Havildar Ishar Singh in the show, slated to launch on February 12. The actor said in a statement.
I am so happy to be here at the Golden temple. Listening to Gurbani at Sri Darbar Sahib is a divine experience - it is not possible to explain it in words.
He also stated that Playing Mahadev earlier in his career has helped him in understanding spirituality in a deeper way. According to him, the great Almighty will always listen when you wish something with a pure heart. At last, he added;
I have given my heart and my soul in playing the role of Ishar Singh, I am hopeful that the show will be accepted by audiences across the country
Sarfarosh: Saragarhi 1897" will be a fiction show inspired by the real-life story of 21 soldiers of the 36th Sikh regiment of the British Indian Army.
