It has been quite a while since we told you that our very own Punjabi singer B Praak is about to make a big singing debut with upcoming Bollywood flick ‘Kesari’. The film is a period drama which is set in the British India of 1897 and will be revolving around the lives of 21 Sikh Bravehearts who fought against 10,000 invading Afghans.
Now the wait is over as the song ‘Teri Mitti’ is finally out. If we go by song details, the song has been recorded in B Praak’s voice and its music is done by Arko. Lyrics of this song are penned down by Manoj Muntashir and the strings section of this song is performed live by Prakash Verma and his team.
The song’s lyrics and soothing music are truly mesmerizing, we bet once you hear this song it will make you play it on loop. The song has been released on the official YouTube channel of Zee Music Company.
Earlier today, a special press conference was organized by the makers of the film ‘Kesari’. Film’s director Anurag Singh joined Karan Johar and Akshay Kumar during this event. During a special media Interaction, both Karan and Akshay appreciated the work done by Anurag Singh on the film.
Answering one of the questions Akshay told that I never felt that I could do this kind of role but this man (Anurag Singh) made me do it. Whenever he felt that there is something wrong with the story he will fly back to Punjab, get the details and then come back to us.
Karan Johar also shared a nostalgic moment when the film’s shoot was almost complete, we were left with hardly a 15-day schedule for the wrap-up and then we heard that our film’s set has burnt down. We all were so tensed but this guy handled this very calmly.
The film is slated for release on 21st March.
