We all love a little vacation to a region with lower temperatures once in a while, don't we? But what most of us don't realize is that life in extreme climates is very difficult.
Cyprien Verseux is an astrobiologist who is working at Concordia Station in Antarctica which is the most remote scientific base. The area is known for its extremely cold temperatures which can go down to -80ºC and on top of it, the area is absolutely isolated. However, the work being done by the 13 people currently stationed here is extremely insightful when it comes to climate trends and to understand the future of planet Earth.
