It is still the beginning of the year and many are still focused on achieving their new year resolutions. Resolutions are usually made with action plans to cause great achievements and success. But the big Question is; how well will the action plan be executed to be successful? Despite having a job and or business, you seem to be stagnant with little or no growth. For every successful individual, weekends are stepping stone to breakthrough. Wondering how? After waking up early every morning to make it on time to work just to have a hectic day, our minds are always fixed on weekends. From Monday to Friday, we only anticipate for the coming two days we have for rest. But what most people fail to do is to plan on how to make these two days fruitful. So to be successful, there are some things you should set to do in order to rise to next level of success in your career or business. One of which is making your weekends count in the following ways

Avoid Wasting Your Weekend Mornings

Clean the house, do your laundry and if you go for runs, wake up early for the same on weekends. This way you cultivate the habit of discipline.

Pursue a Passion

Take out time to work on your passion and improve in areas you are lacking. Engage in side projects that involve your passion and see yourself grow. The secret about working on your passion is that it promotes your ability to think critically. And that is a step to success.

Take Time to Think

Whether a CEO or employee, when you come with new ideas on how you do your work, it places you above so many peers and competitors. In a Forbes publication, Rascoff the CEO of a Real Estate business was quoted "My weekends are an important time to unplug from the day-to-day and get a chance to think more deeply about my company and my industry”.

Rest Well

Spend Time with Family and Friends

Visit your parents for a good home meal or go out on a family outing. This reduces stress and gets you ready for the week because you had a splendid weekend. You may want to plan this for a Sunday evening so that instead of thinking of a Monday morning on Sunday evening, your mind gets occupied by the wonderful time spent with loved ones.
