Ayushmann Khurrana's wife Tahira Kashyap who has been in the news after revealing that she’s suffering from breast cancer is all set to mark her directorial debut. Kashyap is about to direct her very first feature film. Madhuri Dixit has been roped in for the female-centric film and will be playing a mother. The makers are still hunting for an actress who will be playing her daughter.
Recently, Tahira Kashyap directed her first project in the form of short film ‘Toffee’ and now she’ll be directing a full-fledged feature film. Details of this upcoming film are still kept under the wraps but we’re sure that Tahira will be sharing the details very soon.
On the other side, Maduri is soon to be seen in Karan Johar’s period drama ‘Takht’. The film will reunite her with her 90’s hero Sanjay Dutt.
Tahira Kashyap had revealed that she is suffering from breast cancer on her Instagram handle. Sharing a picture of herself she said,
“That’s what you do when it shows up, show it the way out! I believe if an obstacle comes your way it is for you to beat the sh*t out of it & become a better version of yourself, which is a bit worn out but experienced, tattered but more wise, handicapped but better equipped!”.
“It is a tough phase to be in but then I would have never known my own strength, which is inherent in each one of us, and which we come to know off when tested. Like I said before, let’s choose to be the heroes of our own drama of life.”
During one of his interviews with a leading daily Ayushmann Khurrana said, “I am glad I have a partner like Tahira who is very brave, strong, who is an inspiration. I have started seeing life through a different prism.” The couple has two children named Virajveer and Varushka.
On the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana is soon to be seen in and as Dreamgirl. The film is bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures and it will feature Nushrat Bharucha as his leading lady.
