Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan always does something new with each of his movies, his movies receive immense love from the audiences but this time it seems like the actor feels neglected by the audiences as his recent release faced huge criticism both by critics and the moviegoers.
Recently during an exclusive interview with a leading daily the actor spoke his heart out. The actor feels that he's not a big star as Shah Rukh Khan. Shahrukh has a huge fanbase not just in India but across the globe.
Throwing light on this Aamir shares, “I don’t see myself as a star. But I do see Shah Rukh as a big star and everything else about him… He’s so charming, he’s so handsome and so well-dressed. He adds, “I wore a three-quarter pant and a T-shirt during Diwali. Those pants are so old that even the straps are coming off now.”
He goes on to share how he was forced to wear better clothes by his staff. “My team shouted at me saying, ‘Diwali hai…’ And suddenly these two women from my team walk in with new kurtas. I was most impressed by their organization skills. I was forced to wear a kurta,”.
“I’ve been to Shah Rukh’s house when it was new. He took me to his wardrobe. His wardrobe is as big as my entire house. And the clothes are kept in such an organized manner, categorized to the tee. Suits, shoes, socks everything kept so well. I was like, ‘Wow! Yeh hota hai star ka ghar’. Mera aisa nahi hai, mera sab confusion hai,” laughs Aamir. No matter the size of their wardrobe or what they choose to wear, both the superstars have a crazy fan following. And that’s all that matters, isn’t it?
