THREE LOOKS, THREE HEROINES, WHICH IS YOUR FAVORITE?

Punjabi cinema has evolved rapidly over the period of time. Punjabi cinema has been experimenting with the films, genres, concepts, which the audience has loved so far. Even the audience seems to expect something different and unique in the films now. This is the major reason for the filmmakers to try stories beyond times and jodis beyond our imaginations. Experimenting is not just limited to the concepts or genre of the film. The actors today are also ready to change with their looks and characters. They are open to trying new hairstyles, clothing styles. This not only gets them appreciated by the audience but also helps in developing their character more easily. Recently, trailers of three different movies have been launched. These flicks have different heroines as the main leads, but what is catching our attention is the fact that their looks are justifying their character and the backdrops of the film to perfection. Here we have three top-notch leading ladies to look out for this season and their roles will definitely set some serious goals: SARGUN MEHTA Sargun Mehta is a bubbly cheerful girl in real life. However, she has portrayed the most heartfelt emotions on the silver screen. The lady with two back-to-back Filmfare Best Actress Awards in her kitty is always ready to try different styles and add different flavors to her character. After her benchmark performance in Lahoriye where she played a demure Pakistani damsel, Sargun has donned the contemporary girl's character with utter aplomb. From her long kurtis with jeans style to her fringe bags, her Qismat look is definitely a style mantra for college girls.   NIMRAT KHAIRA Nimrat Khaira is the charming beauty who will be seen opposite Tarsem Jassar for the first time in Afsar. She is one of the most elegant ladies in Punjabi industry and her essence is reflected in her Afsar look as well. Playing a girl-next-door from the 2000s era, she has simply nailed the look in the film. Simple and Sweet- two words can define her government teacher look to perfection. With her cute dialogues from the film, she is definitely going to steal the hearts of every person who goes to watch the film. WAMIQA GABBI Just her bubbly looks are enough to bring men to their knees. Wamiqa Gabbi is full of talent and skill and knows how to make people crazy for her. She will be seen in the film, Parahuna opposite Kulwinder Billa. This is a period drama film, in which Wamiqa has left her contemporary fun-loving self behind to don the subtle looks from the 70s and 80s. She looks like a village girl from a humble setting, who aces all the house chores perfectly. This we know from the scene where she is seen washing the clothes. Wearing simple suits, light makeup, she has definitely done justice to her role's look.
