It has been quite a while since Emraan Hashmi did a film. The actor who was last seen in the movie 'Badshaho' back in 2017 just remained off screen for quite some time. Now, the actor is back with a bang as the trailer of his upcoming flick 'Cheat India' is finally out. The first teaser of this film was dropped last month where we saw him in a completely different avatar.

The film is based on the Indian education system and Emraan will be playing a protagonist Rakesh Singh in the film. The film is presented by the makers of critically acclaimed films such as Neerja, Tumhari Sulu and Raid. In the two minutes long trailer we can see Emraan as a support of underprivileged bright students who can’t afford to study in big educational institutes. The film is written and directed by Soumik Sen and it will be hitting the screens on 25th Jan 2019.

The trailer of this upcoming flick has been released on the official YouTube channel of T-Series. With this film, Emraan will also be turning into a producer.

Recently, the actor was seen in the film ‘Tigers’  a film which was first screened at Toronto International Film Festival 2014.  The film is based on a true incident where a reputed company's employee stood against the deaths caused by their products. Just because the film was based on a true incident, the film failed to make it to the big screen but now it has been released on a digital platform ZEE 5 on 21st November 2018.

Apart from this, the actor has one more project in his kitty which is a Netflix original series 'Bard Of Blood'.  The series is based on a book with the same name and it will be produced by Red Chillies Entertainment.
