The case which was presented quite straightforward has turned out to be quite complex with three sides of the same story, it won't be wrong to say that the case has turned out to be similar to a Bollywood thriller mystery.
A Patiala based woman working at the IT Park, Chandigarh has filed a complaint against her entrepreneur fiance for molesting her and outraging her modesty. The alleged fiance, Sahil runs a mobile app firm in IT Park. As per the women, Sahil first promised to marry her and later refused. When she tried to protest against him, the alleged not only misbehaved with her but also tried to tear pull apart her clothes near her office in IT Park. Following which women filed a complaint with police. On the other hand, the defense has claimed that the duo was in a relationship past 6 months but when Sahil asked for some more time in regard to their marriage the girl and her family turned anxious. As per a source quoted in a leading daily it was due to astrological incompatibility between the two, due to which Sahil's parents were concerned. After a few argumentative and heated chats through emails between the couple, wherein the woman allegedly got abusive.
In this story, Sahil has been booked by the police along with two officials, according to them Shub Karan and Manoj Kumar had reached Sahil's firm to probe the sexual harassment complaint made by the Patiala based women. Thereafter when they asked Sahil to accompany them to the police station, Sahil along with his brother took the cops in their BMW car and allegedly took the wrong path. After which the ugly scenario took place to which the viral video is doing rounds on the internet. Watch the video-
The defense on Saturday has also added a bribe angle to the case. According to Kamal Grover, defense counsel, the two cops had demanded ₹1 lakh to close the case. Sahil had even recorded the whole bribe talk on his phone. Grover further alleged that the cops later entered into a heated argument and concocted the kidnapping story to cover up the matter. The defense has also filed an application to prevent any harm to Sahil's mobile phone, which apparently is in police custody, as they need the bribery video data from the cell phone. Meanwhile, deputy superintendent of police (DSP, east) Satish Kumar has stated: “Let the accused produce the bribery video in court. We will initiate appropriate action.”
