After featuring in lead opposite actresses like Anushka Sharma and Kareena Kapoor Khan, Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh is all set to make his next appearance in B-town against the tallest actress of Bollywood, Kriti Sanon. Director Vijan wanted to cast a tall girl for the role, opposite the Punjabi lad and keeping Kriti's hard work and dedication from 'Raabta' in mind, the hemler approached her. Yet-to-be-titled movie's story is about a female journalist meeting a Sikh boy from a small town in Punjab, two of them fall in love and go through a number of hilarious situations conspired due to the difference between their heights. Diljit plays the role of the Sikh boy and Kriti will portray the tall girl. The film has been titled as "Arjun Patiala" and it will be a romantic comedy, other than this Diljit is all set for the release of his upcoming flick that may be dedicated to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, the 23 year old revolutionary freedom fighter who was martyred on March 23, 1931, during British rule. His upcoming project "Sajjan Singh Rangroot" is based on 'World War 1' which has been written by Gurpreet Singh Palhadi, the movie pays tribute to the sacrifice that the Indian Army made during the World War I. 'Pataka' girl Sunanda Sharma, a renowned singer from Pollywood, will be seen making her debut in the Punjabi film industry opposite 'Do You Know' hit maker in 'Sajjan Singh Rangroot'. The shooting of the film has taken place at different locations in Punjab and abroad. Diljit who had earlier announced the release date of the movie on Twitter has once again set a reminder for his fans and loved ones by sharing a fresh photograph, particularly a shot from the film, where he can be seen greeting a young admirer along with her mother.
