Earlier today, filmmaker Karan Johar announced the first film in his first horror franchise, the film is titled as Bhoot: Part One - The Haunted Ship and it will feature actors Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar.
Karan shared the film's first poster, and captioned it:
Presenting Bhoot : Part One - The Haunted Ship! The first in the franchise, starring the supremely talented Vicky Kaushal, directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh. Sailing towards you on November 15, 2019."
The horror franchise will be helmed by debutante director Bhanu, and it is jointly produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Shashank Khaitan and Karan.
Vicky shared the poster and wrote:

From that moment, most of the film buffs started guessing about the film franchise and now the details are finally here.
Earlier this year, some reports had claimed that Vicky and Bhumi would be seen alongside each other in a movie, which would be directed by debutante Bhanu Pratap Singh, who has been an assistant to director Shashank Khaitan.
Dharma Production is well known for films such as My Name Is Khan, Student of the Year, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Kapoor & Sons, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Dear Zindagi, Raazi and Kalank to name a few.
