Shakti Kapoor is one of the few Indian actors who has acted in over 700 movies. Although he has hardly done a film in a lead role but his performances always remained talk of town. Apart from Playing negative roles the actor also enacted some comic characters during the early 1980s and 90s. Shakti Kapoor feels that villains are disappearing from Hindi cinema. The actor who has played several negative characters in the movies expressed how present-day cinema is lacking in negative characters. Shakti Kapoor along with Gulshan Grover went as a guest on a reality tv show 'High Fever-Dance Ka Naya Tevar'. The two actors have been working as prominent villains in the Hindi cinema. The two actors were quite popular for their negative roles during the early 90s. Shakti Kapoor's Aaooo...Lolita and Gulshan Grover's Maaad man are still very popular among the audiences. One can never forget that crazy act done by Shakti Kapoor, Main chhota sa, nanha sa, pyaara sa baccha hoon. “Bollywood has always been adamant on creating a unique experience for a villain’s character, but a romantic sequence by a villain can only happen in the modern times,” Shakti said. As the trends are changing and villains are disappearing from the modern cinema, an actor has to be very versatile with his acting and he should be adjustable with the roles.
