History was created in Indian Premier League on Tuesday after Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli surpassed Chennai Super Kings' veteran Suresh Raina to become the leading run-scorer. Kohli's achievement got marked after his valiant knock of 92 not out against Mumbai Indians. Kohli was left all alone is cricket battle as none of the RCB batsmen could provide any support to Kohli, resulting in a loss of 46 runs. This was RCB's second defeat in four matches so far in the IPL after it failed to chase 214 runs to mark a win against Mumbai Indians. Kholi required only 31 runs to surpass Raina when he had opened on Tuesday in the cricket ground of Wankhede Stadium and as the match came to an end Anushka's hubby became the first player ever to score 5,000 or more runs in IPL for any franchise. Virat had gone past Raina's total score of 4,558 runs when he had successfully scored 32 further he remained unbeaten on 92 off 62 balls including seven fours and four sixes during his batting term. However, Virat's 'virat' batting sequence could not save RCB to its lost against Mumbai Indians following which they have slipped to the seventh spot in the IPL 2018. RCB will next face Delhi Daredevils (DD) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on coming April 21.
