WE HAVE A NEW LEAD ABOUT KARAN JOHAR'S NEXT DIRECTORIAL PROJECT

Since the time Karan Johar has announced his next directorial project, the audience has gone crazy to know more about the project. Karan Johar will be handling the camera for one of the most epic stories ever and the title of the project is ‘Takht’. When the cast of the film was announced, the entire audience was left shook! Takht will be a multi starrer film with some top-notch actors.

Karan Johar had announced that the audience will see Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor as the main lead actors of the film.'


Later on, it was revealed that the film will be about Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Now the latest buzz is that Anil Kapoor, one of the lead actors, will be putting on some weight for his role in the film. One of the sources said,

Anil will be putting on a lot of weight to look his part. He is currently extremely lean and fit, but early next year, he will be on a different diet and will gain quite a few kilos before he begins shoot for the period drama.

This is something interesting because Anil Kapoor has been giving us fitness goals for quite sometime now.

During an interview with one of the leading channels, director of the film said that Takht will be somewhat like Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham just that it would be set in the Mughal times.he also shared that since the film is a periodic drama, it will be involving a lot of politics. He said,

It’s about two warring brothers and it’s based on facts. It’s like the K3G of the Mughal era. But it’s more extreme, there is more betrayal. It has the tropes of court politics. It’s so rich in texture.

Anil Kapoor had previously gained weight for his film Badhaai Ho Badhaai where he was seen playing the role of an overweight man.

Takht is scheduled to release in 2020 sometime.
