Farhan Akhtar, a man with many talents is truly an inspiration for millions. The actor is best known for his performances in movies like 'Rock On' and 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'. One film which turned out to be one of the biggest hits of his life was 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag'. The film was released in the year 2013 and it was based on the life of an Indian athlete Milkha Singh. Milkha Singh, who is commonly known as a flying Sikh recently made headlines by being featured in a Bengali school textbook. This legendary athlete truly deserves this gesture but mistakenly, The West Bengal school education board published Farhan Akhtar's picture in the book with its caption, Milkha Singh. A Twitter user posted an image from the textbook which depicted Farhan Akhtar as Milkha Singh. As soon as it reached the actor, he took to his Twitter where he quoted this Tweet by writing; “To the Minister of School Education, West Bengal. There is a glaring error with the image used in one of the school textbooks to depict Milkha Singh-Ji. Could you please request the publisher to recall and replace this book? Sincerely. @derekobrienmp” [caption id="attachment_45851" align="alignnone" width="534"] source/twitter[/caption] While West Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee said the government would look into it, Derek O’Brien took cognizance of the matter at the earliest and responded back saying that the error has been made by a private publishing company and the government was tracking the same to rectify it. He also thanked Akhtar for pointing out the glaring error. Farhan essayed the role Milkha Singh in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's directorial. This film also bagged two national awards in three categories; Best popular film, Providing wholesome entertainment and Best Choreography.
